You’ll find full guidelines on the TLT page – here’s the tl;dr:

  • Write three lines inspired by the photo prompt (& give them a title if possible).
  • Link back to this post (& check the link shows up under the weekly post).
  • Tag your post with 3LineTales (so everyone can find you in the Reader).
  • Read and comment on other TLT participants’ lines.
  • Have fun.

Happy three-lining!

  1. Wonderful photo for the challenge! Hope it’s okay to have two this time. 🙂 I’ll be by to read everyone’s entries soon. 🙂

  2. Mourning Red Sky

It may have been the blood of the night draping its pale-red sheen over the western sky.

It may have been the tower, alive with perfunctory sorrow, weary of sharing its power, locked in wired embrace.

Whatever it may have been, I was no match for its authority, its soaring dignity, and so I stood down, content to return to the soil and never rise again.
