Welcome to Week 305 of Three Line Tales.
You’ll find full guidelines on the TLT page – here’s the tl;dr:
- Write three lines inspired by the photo prompt (& give them a title if possible).
- Link back to this post (& check the link shows up under the weekly post).
- Tag your post with 3LineTales (so everyone can find you in the Reader).
- Read and comment on other TLT participants’ lines.
- Have fun.
Happy three-lining!
A little house on a frozen lake
Holds the skis and icy skates
Run on down, I’ll meet you there
Where winter fun we will share.
Grab your jacket, scarf and mittens
They’re over there, under the kittens
We’ll make a thermos of hot cocoa
Just for warming, don’t you know.
Wouldn’t mind if when we return
Could start a fire with maple logs to burn
Their scent is lovely and inviting
Makes the warmth they give enticing
Later on we’ll have some bread and soup
All to nourish and recoup
From our lovely day
When we enjoyed winter play.

A Bit Too Twosome
By Neel Anil Panicker
“A remote mountain top log cabin amidst snow capped peaks of the mighty Swiss Alps, and us sipping cognac, arms interlocked, eyes gazing into the other’s, sitting by the fireside- the embers of the burning log of wood smouldering even further our carnal desires–now that’s what I am looking for this extended weekend- just the two of us lolling and rolling around in the pristine sprawling of Mother Nature.”
Ayesha looked at the man whose ring she adorned in her index finger—barely 24 hours into their engagement and her ‘man’ was already making plans for a most romantic rendezvous.
Something in her eyes, as those bluer than ocean blue ones looked into his told her that she be a tad hasty if she were to say yes to Hardeep’s date made her blurt out, albeit hurriedly, ‘All good, but maybe, we should wait to hear the sonorous sound of wedding bells before we plunge headlong into this utterly bewitching first night.’
